Tommy began his journey with Gaining Through Training as a student while still at school, diving straight into the hospitality world by getting involved in a wide variety of local events throughout the Autumn Celebration of Food. Tommy showed a natural talent for hospitality work and particularly customer service. Having walked that path himself, he now thoroughly enjoys serving as a mentor to the new students coming through the program.

His deep connection to food traces back to his grandmother cooking for him—a passion that led him to pursue a Certificate II in Cookery and contributed to his involvement in key positions of responsibility in the top Food Network events. Now, as a Committee Member, Tommy looks forward to helping advance the future of both the network and the hospitality in the Shoalhaven as a whole.
