Established seven years ago with his wife, Alyce, Bumpy Road Catering has evolved from a weekend venture into a full-service catering enterprise, renowned for its creative and delicious menus that celebrate fresh, seasonal food.
Jack's journey into the culinary world began with formal training at TAFE under the mentorship of Di Laver, founder and president of the Shoalhaven Food Network. This foundation paved the way for his passion for delivering exceptional food experiences. Under Jack's leadership, Bumpy Road Catering has grown to handle approximately 150 events annually, ranging from intimate private dinners to grand weddings with over 200 guests. The company is known for its 'off-the-charts grazing tables', gourmet street food, breakfast buffets, and private fine dining services.
In recognition of his outstanding business acumen and leadership, Jack was honoured as the Number 1 Wedding Caterer in Australia in Feb 2025., on top of Outstanding Young Business Leader at the Illawarra Business Awards on September 23, 2024. These accolades adds to a series of awards, including Best Wedding Caterer in the Shoalhaven and South Coast for four consecutive years.
Jack's commitment to excellence extends beyond his business operations. He serves on the Management Committee of the Shoalhaven Business Chamber, contributing to the growth and development of the local business community.
