David Edwards is a seasoned chef and is one of the Team Leaders for Jervis Bay & Basin.  His career in the food industry began in 1991 where he has continued to work in the Shoalhaven region.



David’s passion for cooking and food was cultivated from his work experience in high school Inspiring him to own and operate his own restaurant “On the Ramp”. He later joined Bomaderry Bowling Club as a chef and was appointed as Catering Manager.

During his 24 years with the club, he was instrumental in creating successful business events like the “Chefs of the Shoalhaven Dinner”.

In 2021, David accepted the position of Catering Manager at The Country Club St Georges Basin and brought his wealth of industry knowledge to the Bay and Basin area.

David became a founding member of Shoalhaven Food Network wanting to give licensed clubs a voice in the food industry and promote local produce, and talented professionals, and introduce new culinary concepts to the region. David’s future goal is to continue promoting local food and hospitality expertise in the Shoalhaven.
